DMCA

TV Series Zone (tvserieszone.xyz) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to valid notices of claimed infringement.

Our position

TV Series Zone is a blog that publishes original written commentary, reviews, recaps, and news about American television series.

We do not:

  • Host, stream, or store any television episodes, films, or other copyrighted video content
  • Upload copyrighted material to any server, ours or otherwise
  • Provide download links, torrent files, or links to unauthorised streaming sources
  • Encourage or facilitate piracy in any form

Show titles, character names, logos, promotional stills, and trailers that appear on our site are the property of their respective copyright owners. We reference them only for identification, commentary, criticism, and news reporting — uses we believe are protected under the fair use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107).

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe material on our site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our Designated Agent containing all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, provide a representative list.
  2. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with the exact URL(s) on tvserieszone.xyz where it can be found — enough detail for us to locate it.
  3. Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we will:

  1. Review the notice, usually within 48–72 hours
  2. Remove or disable access to the material in question if the claim is valid
  3. Notify the person who posted the material, where applicable
  4. Keep a record of the notice and our response

Incomplete notices may delay our response. If your notice is missing required elements, we will contact you.

Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district (or, if outside the United States, any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

Send counter-notices to the same Designated Agent address above.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we will terminate the accounts or commenting privileges of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

A note on misuse

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that content is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please be sure that the material you are reporting is actually hosted on our site before filing.
